"unlockable" seems to be confusing.

"Unlockable" may mean something which is locked but can be unlocked
(unlock-able).  Or it may mean something which can't be locked
(un-lockable).

Maybe returning "unsupported", "locked", "unlocked" etc would be
clearer?
