kernel BUG at mm/slab.c:610
From: Marco Berizzi
Date: Wed Mar 14 2007 - 05:12:19 EST
Hello everybody. Sorry for posting to this list,
but I'm pretty lost.
I'm experimenting this kernel panic on 3 different
slackware linux boxes. The harware is the same, and
also the .config with vanilla 2.6.20
I don't think this is related to buggy hardware
because it is happening on 3 different boxes with
the same hardware config.
Unfortunately the bug isn't reproducible but it is
happening at least once a week.
May anoybody point me the step to try to spot this
bug?
TIA
ksymoops 2.4.10 on i686 2.6.20. Options used
-V (default)
-k /proc/ksyms (default)
-l /proc/modules (default)
-o /lib/modules/2.6.20/ (default)
-m /usr/src/linux/System.map (default)
Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol
information. I will
assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are
running
right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol
resolution.
If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log,
you can get
more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and
where to find
map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
Error (regular_file): read_ksyms stat /proc/ksyms failed
ksymoops: No such file or directory
No modules in ksyms, skipping objects
No ksyms, skipping lsmod
