That sounds like a very appropriate suggestion, thanks.

So something like this?
Then change every occurrence of
+ if (!(gfp_to_alloc_flags(gfpflags) & ALLOC_NO_WATERMARKS))
to
+ if (!(gfp_has_no_watermarks(gfpflags)))

??
