2.6.39 first observations: The framerate jitter in games that seem to depend on kernel for low-jitter, like doom 3, is almost completely gone now. (Tested with latest nvidia driver something 75 something)
I decided to try threadirqs from grub, but that did not work. Looks like the same error as I get when I tried the rt kernels, which was this one:
