Regresion from 3.5.0-rc4 in 3.6-rc5

I can't boot up my machine, with the latest kernel, that I've cloned
from git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git.

It just hangs. Last message that I see is

powernow-k8: this CPU is not supported anymore, using acpi-cpufreq instead

My CPU is AMD Athlon II X2 240.

In linux 3.5 it worked, although it complained that

"No compatible ACPI _PSS objects found"

    libata: migrate ACPI code over to new bindings

    Now that we have the ability to directly glue the ACPI namespace to the
    driver model in libata, we don't need the custom code to handle the same
    thing. Remove it and migrate the functions over to the new code.
