I do wonder about the mixture of dev_dbg and cl_dbg.
Was there any rationale about this mixture?
Here's a potential cleanup

Subject: [PATCH] mei: Remove unnecessary dev arg from cl_<level> logging
dev is a member of cl so use that instead.
Add missing newlines.
Neaten logging messages and alignment.
Remove now unnecessary declaration too.
