Just what makes the replacement easier to follow?
	if (foo)
		return bar;
	else
		return baz;
is no less idiomatic than
	if (foo)
		return bar;
	return baz;

Al, really annoyed by how the words "coding style issue" are getting used as
a magic incantation...
