When I boot my system, it will randomly halt and/or reboot, usually
within 5 minutes of starting. The system does not respond to any
input, including mouse movement and SysRq keys. I bisected this issue
down to the commit:
0e576acbc1d9600cf2d9b4a141a2554639959d50
Reverting this commit fixes the issue from me. For output from the running
system mentioned below, I am running the 4.0.0-rc4 kernel, with that commit
reverted, otherwise I have no way of running the system long enough to get the
desired output. To clarify the exact change I've made to get a working system:

Note that I need to run my system with the acpi=off kernel parameter. This has
been required since at least Linux version 3.8 (though possibly earlier, that's
simply the earliest kernel I've used).
