An example like follows:
struct some_ds {
int data;
bool ready;
};
struct some_ds *p = ...;
rcu_read_lock();
if (rcu_dereference(p->ready))
data = rcu_dereference(p->data); // bug
rcu_read_unlock();
or some such.
