[PATCH] ext4: fix ext4_find_extent() allocation with order >= MAX_ORDER
From: Vegard Nossum

Mounting a fuzzed ext4 image on a recent linus/master I see the
following warning:

This is mm/page_alloc.c:2989 __alloc_pages_nodemask+0x1afe/0x1d90():
if (order >= MAX_ORDER) {
WARN_ON_ONCE(!(gfp_mask & __GFP_NOWARN));
and the call into the memory allocator is coming from ext4_find_extent():
if (!path) {
/* account possible depth increase */
path = kzalloc(sizeof(struct ext4_ext_path) * (depth + 2),
GFP_NOFS);
The problem is that the 'depth' variable is a plain 'short', whereas
the value from the inode is a unsigned 16-bit number; in my case, its
value was -3328.
Simply changing the depth variable to be unsigned short is not
advisable, as that could still break on edge cases like 0xffff in the
subsequent loop without extra care.
