[PATCH 4.10 031/110] ring-buffer: Fix return value check in test_ringbuffer()
From: Greg Kroah-Hartman
Date: Mon Apr 10 2017 - 13:15:18 EST
4.10-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Wei Yongjun <yongjun_wei@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
commit 62277de758b155dc04b78f195a1cb5208c37b2df upstream.
In case of error, the function kthread_run() returns ERR_PTR()
and never returns NULL. The NULL test in the return value check
should be replaced with IS_ERR().
