As per the in-kernel documentation, I get to make fun of you for trying
to "fool" the kernel here :(
Please please please do not do stuff like this. There is a good reason
the kernel is warning you that you need to do something "real" here. I
didn't put that logic in the kernel for no good reason, so don't try to
"shut it up" by being sneaky and trying to fool it.
Properly clean up your memory here, that is what is needed.
