wireless: need help to learn WiFi kernel stack

Hi All,



Iâm planning to learn the Linux WiFi kernel stack.

Iâd like to know what happens in the background in the kernel when I
connect to WiFi.

How does a packet travels all the way from my application to kernel to
air and back.



Right now I donât have any WiFi dongle, can someone suggest any proven
WiFi dongle which can be used to test with Linux kernel.
