[PATCH 0/8] staging: kpc2000: kpc_i2c: assorted driver cleanup

- cleaning up unused/unneeded parts of driver state
- a couple of small style fixups
- a couple of API changes
- better error handling in probe()

in the kpc2000 i2c driver.
