From how I see things here, mode->crtc_clock should be the pixel-clock
coming to the DPI interface from CRTC (input), while mode->clock should
be the pixel-clock that the DSI periheral expects (output).
As I told you in another thread, I have a panel (that requires a pixel-
clock of 132M) that works only when using a smaller pixel-clock at DPI
interface. In that case, I change the crtc_clock to a lower value
(evenly divisible by the rate of phy_ref, for ex: 126M) in mode_fixup,
while keeping the actual clock (of 132M) at DSI ouput. Which is here,
where the DPHY speed is configured.
And, that's why I suggested using mode->clock here.

That's the thing. The lcdif clock is viable in this case especiallly
when DCSS is used as input source. Since, by default, lcdif clock is
off when using DCSS, the DSI reset won't work. When using LCDIF as
input source, DSI reset works, since the lcdif clock is on (enabled by
MXSFB driver).
On short: lcdif pixel-clock is needed here when DCSS is used as input-
source.
