[PATCH 1/2] gpio: Unconditionally assign .request()/.free()

From: Thierry Reding
Date: Wed Apr 01 2020 - 16:05:38 EST

From: Thierry Reding <treding@xxxxxxxxxx>

The gpiochip_generic_request() and gpiochip_generic_free() functions can
now deal properly with chips that don't have any pin-ranges defined, so
they can be assigned unconditionally.
