[PATCH] caif: remove redundant assignment to variable err

From: Colin King
Date: Fri May 08 2020 - 18:24:07 EST

From: Colin Ian King <colin.king@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

The variable err is being initializeed with a value that is never read
and it is being updated later with a new value. The initialization
is redundant and can be removed.
