I was able to build/assemble with LLVM/Clang v11.0.0-git+ffee8040534
and boot on bare metal.

Note:
I have applied some additional patches to be compliant with LLVM_IAS=1
(Clang's Integrated Assembler) and LLVM=1 means LLVM utilities.
