hi Sureshkumar,
If you forward traffic on an igc kmod NIC the kernel will panic with
the call traces provided from the three different kernel versions.
This happens when there's traffic passing through the nic, and the
cable is removed. When the cable is returned to the device, the panic
occurs. Each controller (as far as I'm aware) is exposed as a
standalone device.
This has never worked on 5.10, 5.15, or 6.0 kernels. There is no
device support on 5.4, so I can't test that far back unfortunately. We
also don't know if it's exclusive to this phy, or if it's impacting
other devices using the kmod.
