The debate seems polarized on "Gay".

In Islam and The Quran, one may consider esoteric referances to Lut, a 
prophet of Sodom/Gomorrah, in modern times, 2nd millennium, where many 
people consider "gay" a normalicy.

There is indeed no conflict here.
