Yeah, but that's not really how we apply -stable tags. If it's good for
-stable, it's good for Linus's tree, full stop.

And it's been in -next ever since.

Anyway, Linus, if you haven't pulled this yet then please belay
this pull request, I'll move this patch back into tip:x86/boot
and remove the misapplied -stable tag.
