Thank you for your response. I appreciate your honest feedback and I completely agree that I need to familiarize myself more with the kernel development process.

If you could point out my mistakes specifically, that would be very helpful so I can avoid them in the future.

Apart from that, I've been thinking about a solution for testing. I am considering using GitHub Actions to build and test the patch automatically. This way, I can ensure the compilation and basic functionality are verified before submitting. I will set up a proper CI workflow for that purpose.
