No disagreement here, my lament of not being able to get fleet-scale
data is more of a personal one, not a cry to merge. We're working on it.

Should note that we hold a bi-weekly working group on this to discuss
the design and micro-benchmarks - so it hasn't been developed in a
complete vacuum. We (I) owe that group some explicit on-list reviews
and testing data - that's my fault (life has been busy).
