Hi Jakub,

Apologies for the silence on this thread — it slipped past us and we should have reviewed the patches much sooner.

Octeon_ep and octeon_ep_vf are not orphaned. Marvell maintains these drivers and will continue to actively maintain and support them. 
You can see patches we submitted just a few months ago.

The hardware is in active use by various customers. Please hold off on any driver removal for now.

On the patches themselves, we will review the series and follow up on the individual patches.

We also recognize the responsiveness gap here. We will make sure patches touching these drivers get timely review from us going forward.
