[GIT PULL] bitmap updates for 7.3

Hi Linus,
Please pull bitmap updates for v7.3. It includes a usual set of
fixes, cleanups and performance improvements together with a
couple of new tests.
All patches spent in -next for over 3 weeks with no issues.
