I've tested your changes on an AS5600 connected to a BeagleBone Black
over I2C2. Everything works. I'll put the details in the v7 cover
letter.

One thing I forgot to ask before, the registration rework in the IIO
abstraction and the driver is your code. Are you fine with me adding
