Minor suggestion: please drop the implication that COLMOD 0x66 causes DSI to 
display at 6bpc; the datasheet doesn't establish that causality. 
I think COLMOD only applies to DPI and DBI, not DSI. The initialization 
sequence can remain unchanged. Non-blocking.
