DEC Ewrk3 problems with 1.3.6

Hi,
I got more time to investigate the EWRK3 problems I'm having with
1.3.6 .

The story at the moment is:
1.3.5 works.
1.3.6 doesn't.

Environment:
DEC 4100, 36MB ram
DEC Ewrk3 (DE205)
GCC 2.6.3
Linux 1.3.6, (All drivers built into kernel)
Drivers: SLIP, PPP, EWRK3, SCSI (Drive,Tape,Cdrom,Generic)

Problem:
Ewrk3 card doesn't work.

Symptoms:
ARP works.
Local pings to the interface work.
Nothing else works.

Has anyone else seen this problem ?
