I have a whole bunch of messages, in this pattern:
floppy0: probe failed...
[repeated 16x]
end_requist: I/O error, dev 02:00, sector 0
attempt to access beyond end of device
attempt to access beyond end of device
attempt to access beyond end of device
floppy0: probe failed...
end_requist: I/O error, dev 02:00, sector 0
...etc..
end_requist: I/O error, dev 02:00, sector 2
...etc...
[and finally]
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 02:00
I have tried 1.2.1, 1.2.13, 1.3.31 compiled by myself,
to no avail.
Is there a problem with the floppy driver or the floppy?
(DOS, for what it's worth, accesses the floppy just fine...)
infact, rawrite wrote the whole image allright...
p-90, mach64, scsihd, ne2000...
