PCI/Lance ethernet broken in 1.3.75?

I have a lance based ethernet card (it's reported as a PCnet32). Here's the
relevent section from the (1.3.72) boot messages:

lance.c: PCI bios is present, checking for devices...
Found PCnet/PCI at 0x6000, irq 12.
eth0: PCnet32 at 0x6000, 00 00 1a 00 24 a2 assigned IRQ 12, no DMA needed.
lance.c:v1.08 4/10/95 dplatt@3do.com

Under 1.3.75, the ethernet doesn't seem to be transmitting, and I get messages
like this:

Mar 18 05:23:48 flibble kernel: eth0: Tx FIFO error! Status 02e2.

I haven't had time to try 1.3.7[34] yet, but there have been several changes to
the lance code between 1.3.72 and 1.3.75...
