I guess this didn't quite work right with me. I patched .89 and rebooted
(after noting that it said it was writing the new modules to
/lib/modules/1.3.89) and observed that it thought it was 1.3.89. /proc/version
confirmed this. Assuming the patch had failed mysteriously, I grabbed a
complete copy of linux-1.3.90 (at 14400 Kbits/sec) and re-built. Same results.
At about 2:30 am local time, I found the mistake in the make file. *sigh* I
went to bed.

BTW, the MD testing on the new IN2000 SCSI driver is going well. It's
unconfirmed, but there seems to be an improvement since .72. I'll let everyone
know when I'm done.
