I just got this message. It is coming out of fs/nfs/bio.c, and seems to have
coincided with a 'NFS server not responding, still trying' message, and a
failure to exec a binary stored on an nfs filesystem (the program kept on
segfaulting). Looks like something is odd in the nfs caching system...

Client: Linux/x86 1.3.94, server OSF1 V2.3. Can't imagine why I got the NFS
server not responding, since both machines plug straight into an ethernet
switch in the same room. And the NFS server OK message turned up one second
later.
