Sound: IRQ-1 already in use

We have a cuckoo clock that rings every hour, but every time it does (or
indeed any other time we use sound) we get the message:

Sound: IRQ-1 already in use.

This seems to only occur on the load of the module, because once the
module is loaded, I can play separate sound files without getting the
error. This started happening a few kernels ago (I'm using 1.3.93
now) but I can't recall on exactly which one it was that I first saw
it.

Here is the output of 'cat /proc/interrupt':

0: 10453380 timer
1: 42507 keyboard
2: 0 cascade
4: 111301 + serial
7: 502 SoundBlaster
10: 1024957 3c509
11: 785882 + aic7xxx
13: 1 math error
