I'm running 1.3.94 and mount my home directories from a solaris box. Today
I was doing some tuning on the rc scripts and because of that I frequently
switched to single user mode and back to run level 2.
After switching to single user and back to level 2 there are no nfsiod
daemons running anymore and any attempt to read a file from the nfs
mounted partition result in various Oops's. These are not always the same
and depend on what one tries to do.
FWIIW I use sysvinit-2.60
