okay, lets not go down this road again. whoever made the point about
"until someone gets sued, don't worry about it" was right. even if
a few bright law students poked their heads into this discussion and
gave their informed opinion about what is and isn't required, it probably
wouldn't apply to most other countries.

besides, what can an individual do if someone breaks the gpl? what if
microsoft broke the gpl? would you try and sue them? they'd have you
bankrupt from court costs before you could blink an eye.

don't worry about it and don't start another 10000 post thread on this
subject, please
