Umm, not to be dense about this, but when you make reference to "kernel=
d" being
disabled in the kernel, is this really speaking of the kernel's _interf=
ace_ to the
kerneld daemon? I routinely use this daemon to handle all load/unload =
of modules and
have yet to see a single hiccup in >>30 revisions of the 1.3.x family.
Can someone clarify? Thanks.
