It also wastes swap access time (too many seeks).

However, I'd like to not have that as default. The reason is that often=
,
the first swap partition is on the "least-used" disk and the second is =
on a
busy disk and only intended to be used as overflow storage. Striping by
default would make the whole system slower.

I've even seen that kind of overflow swap partition on the same disk as=
the
regular swap partition.
