Diskdrive removed from Netware system and then plugged into some
other box (non-netware) and THEN mounted as netwarevolume ???
I'm confused, as usual :)

Well, there is an utility to mount netware volumes. It's called
Novell Netware, available in various revisions, 2.0a, 2.15, 3.0,
3.01, 3.11. 3.12. 4.xx, ad nauseatum....
