interaction between nfs and smbfs

I have smbfs mounts and nfs mounts (I'm running amd).

I seem to get this in pairs (i.e. I see interaction between nfs and smbfs mounts...)

Not sure it always makes sense:
NFS server pid2601@thingy:/net OK.
nfs_stat_to_errno: bad nfs status return value: 116
smb_receive: receive error: -5
smb_receive: receive error: -5

(things seem to working...aside from the interim amd core dumps...(is there a working
copy of amd? I'm running pl102, and I know on linux there are problems with
/net).
