Sorry for the lack of detail in this post.
I've built 1.3.90 with the attached .config. During boot, the kernel
gets as far as autoprobing for a "PI" ethernet card and hangs after the
first attempt. I've left it hanging for 30 seconds or so. I could try
longer if anyone can think of a good reason :-).
I got a similar problem on 1.3.88. I got a hang in roughly the same
place after taking out the PI, PT and Lance drivers.
I don't know where it's hanging, but I don't _think_ it's in the PI
driver itself. A similar .config works fine on 1.3.85 (also attached).
Hardware: 486 DX4 100, 16Mb RAM, 3c503, EIDE on motherboard, erm... SBPro
clone sound card... err, anything else I need to say?
