The current Linux TCP drivers have problems as well, let's disable TCP too!
Let's disable SMP! Let's disable ... etc ...
Look guys, for cramped machines, kerneld is a real life saver. I personally
haven't had any problems with kerneld and I run with a ton of stuff as
modules.
I also feel its very silly and arrogant for developers to say "forget kerneld,
just add more memory and your problems will be gone". I thought the point
was to make Linux usable on as wide a range of machines as possible. Now
developers are saying, "well, I don't care about those people with
8mb or less, it's very simple, they should just buy more RAM."
