It seems the pre2 patches are to indicate the "utimate code freeze".
Unfortunately the naming convention breaks the patch-kernel script!
Why not going on with 101?

Maybe for the next time (v2.0) we can start with two or three digits
of patchlevel. That way the DIR in FTP would be sorted in a better
way.
