ps @ top strangeness since 1.3.97 or so

Is there any official patch yet for the wierd values returned by both
'ps' and 'top' since around 1.3.97.

Note, I'm not talking about the old, old, error (Floating Point Exception).

In this case I'm seeing garbage values returned for many fields in the above
utilities.
