First of all; are you _sure_ that you _really_ need emumod?
Here are the generic guidelines:
With the latest snapshots (as of now: modules-1.3.69j) you can use
the new keyword "install" in /etc/conf.modules (this replaces insmod):
install a_module whatever you want to send to system()
Now you only have to find the "magic" numbers that identify the binaries
and add these as "alias binfmt-12345678 a_module" to /etc/conf.modules.
(Your syslog will tell you the right number(s) if you run kerneld.)
Put the module(s) in e.g. /lib/modules/misc and run "depmod -a".
The exact lines in /etc/conf.modules are left as an exercise for the reader...
