I experience this oddity whenever lilo is run - it checks, and gripes about,
/dev/hdb (ATAPI cdrom)
hdb: code: 0x70 key: 0x05 asc: 0x64 ascq: 0x00
hdb: command error: status=0x51
hdb: command error: error=0x54
end_request: I/O error, dev 03:40, sector 3
yet I run SCSI's.
I am unable to find anything in the lilo docs, ie a switch to exclude lilo
to check /dev/hd?, but then again, I may be blind, stupid or both.
