init 2.60

Hi,
I tried yesterday to upgrade from init 2.4 to 2.60.
It uses different scripts so I get them from latest Slackware.

Now I can't run text consoles - X works from tty2 and no others work.
I start xdm from runlevel 5 and rc.local.

ps shows that agetty processes are running - all 6.

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?
