Thomas Bogendoerfer and I have merged the alpha patches into strace.
This version uses ptrace to read program memory (recall the
/proc/$pid/mem thread). I would like to release strace 3.1 soon so if
you want to test it out please do so. In particular, if someone could
compile and test it on m68k-linux and send a report back to me I would
be grateful.
