1) You should put back the LATEST-IS file. I know several people
including myself that have scripts that utilize this file as a version
marker.
2) And, tho 1.2.0 and 1.3.0 might have been this way, the current
version should also be numbered in the same fashion,
ie. linux-2.0.0.tar.gz. Consistency is A Good Thing.
