Works great for a few minutes to an hour... then becomes
*terribly* lagged. Ping times in excess of four seconds.
Appears to be an imbalance problem, as the handshake lines only
on cua0 begin to stay active.
killing the pppd's and restarting always fixes it for awhile again.
