Do you mean STREAMS?, untested STREAMS for Linux (though they're
working w/ QNX) at ftp://ftp.blackdown.org/pub/Linux/LiS

BTW, I've also a wish for future Linux systems, a union file system
working fine w/ NFS, any other one out there wanting the same thing?
